Pisser Assassin - Animatic 01
1- The story plot has been well established; Now I know how the story and animation is going to proceed
2- Next I need to do the scene layout, this includes Lighting to make it render ready
3- I will be changing some of the Sound Effects for better ones, as some are only temporary
4- After spending quite sometime on the final animatic, I did notice the timing can definitely be shortened on certain shots
5- I'm not entirely sure about the last shot (#24) after the ending credits. If anyone else has better ideas, feel free to share or suggest a change
6- Last, the name of this short will be Pisser Assassin
If you're a ninja fan like me, then you should be able to know what title the BG music is originaly from ^_^
Please share your feedback and critiques if you have any.
Until next time,
J

Jason Chow - Kung Fu Dunk Theme - Preview Update
This should've been posted not longer than one week after my last post back in December. But when you get a full time job, with 6 days a week, a 7 day project turns into 7 weeks !!
I appreciate everybody's comments and critiques. It definitely brought forth major improvements to this project. I'm going to lock the first 37 seconds of this clip for now and start moving onto the rest of it.

TAKING JASON OUT FOR A SPIN !
This is my latest work on Jason. It was supposed to be a test but I couldn't help but love what I came up with. But time is tight especially with my new job so I'm still deciding whether or not I should go on with this animation. What do you think ?

Turntable Slap Animation
Jason Chow - Turntable Animation - Final Gathering on Vimeo.
Jason Chow - Turntable Slap Animation - Composite on Vimeo.
This is a quick animation test I slapped together just to see what the final outcome looks like in motion. First render was done with Final Gathering. Second render was done using separate passes to speed up rendering. Rendering took forever on a classic Quad Core Intel desktop. Purpose of the the render tests was to explore different rendering styles to use as a fixed production pipeline. Personally, I like it better with Final Gathering, it's just not the same without it.
I need to have an intel core i7 with six cores in the least if I ever want to get this short film done. Sigh ... time and money.
